after countless resume sending, interviews, test. i have finally secured my own internship!

the stipend/allowance is a bit better than the amount recommend by the poly. I am sure the job would be fun too; the job scope looks serious.

Beats some coffee pouring, scanning, photocopying, admin, data entry scope which i am sure is what many would be getting with the poly's allocated companies. *winks

if you thought 2.4km was HARD, this is 2.4km x 17.5times
as the big day approaches, 42km. my training is well underway, short distances for the past month. today was 21km in 102minutes. definitely felt like giving up at some parts. truth be told, i did stop for several times at red traffic signals, but i still pushed on to the end anyway.

102minutes -21km
204minutes -42km, thats about 3.5hours. knowing that the average time a marathon runner takes about 4-5hours to complete 42km. i am nothing but awesome.

HOWEVER.... the time which i need to run 42km cannot be calculated like that because the longer you run, the more tired you get. but we will see; still training. 1 month more to the big day :D

the good thing about working part time is that no only you get paid but you get medical and hospitalisation coverage at the company's panel of clinics about 200 plus of them island-wide. its even cheaper then polyclinic and shorter queue, get what i mean? *winks

finally finished up my last day of work today at MOE after I tendered my resignation last week. Then went down to HDB for an interview for another temp position. HDB shortlisted like another 7 people all just for one temp job la. so ridiculous not like its some big job. anyway what worse was the interviewers, there were 3 interviews all holding senior positions in different divisions. pretty waste of their time just to conduct interviews for a temp. Was informed that I will be notified within 2 weeks if I was successful.

Got a call about 5pm informing me I have been selected which is GREAT! i was jobless from 1pm-5pm and have a job again. I think work at HDB would be funner, the job title itself is 'assistant executive', beats 'administrative assistant' so many times. ok wish me luck for 1st day tomorrow!

i got a temp job from 17th august onwards at moe hq as registry officer. yay. it sucks when you find a job but you can't tell anyone specific details what the job does. for those who do not know what moe is.

they all have people who look really caucasian (gold hair, blue eyes, big sized).

fun fact 1:do you know that there are caucasians who are born in China Xinjiang. I am not referring to those who parents migrated there, i am referring to those whose family parentage have been there since the late BC. The uzbeks, kazaks and uyghers who live there. these are not some alien terms found in your history books, they are people who still exist of of today in the millions.

do some research and reading on your own, really very cool stuff you would have never known had you not heard of these countries before.

i wasted $3 to enter the damn sentosa. stupid shuttle bus didn't wait for me. this cannot do, eating so many meals in a day. and the walkie talkies they provided totally made in china -.- cannot even hear anything. now to claim some mobile bills? teabreak at delifrance oooo then had another meal. the food is prepared by SATS catering - Singapore Airport Terminal Services Ltd and Singapore Food Manufacturers' Association. good stuff! its all eat and no work at this sunny beach.

i realise that there are many people visiting sentosa even in the early hours of weekdays, cool stuff right? and i thought sentosa was this desolated island which only see its guests on weekends...
